MY MUSIC JOURNEY
A bansuri maker inspired by nature
I am originally from Venezuela, but have spend many years living in UK and India. I'm currently living on Tenerife, Spain, where I have my bansuri making workshop. As a bansuri maker I create professional concert flutes, fitting for both beginners and professionals.
I have studied Indian Classical Music on bansuri for about 13 years with many respected teachers, the world famous Hari Prasad Chaurasia among others. I am also a professional guitarist and music producer. I have extensive music experience from both South America, Europe and Asia, so I make a perfect bridge between World Music traditions.
The name Tepui comes from a magnificent mountain chain in Venezuela. Tepui means "Temple Of The Gods" in the local Tribal Amazonian language. I choose the name to remind us about the profound healing and peace we find in nature as well as music. You can read more about me and my journey as a bansuri maker on the blog.
